Now you can upload video resumes on TikTok to apply for jobs.
The popular short video sharing platform, TikTok has launched a pilot program on its platform that lets users upload video resumes for US-based jobs, and several companies working with TikTok will accept those video resumes as well.
People can send video resumes to apply for a WWE Superstar, a senior data engineer at Shopify, or a creative producer at TikTok, as per the details. Meanwhile, Chipotle Mexican Grill and Target Corp, as well as Chipotle, WWE, Alo Yoga, Shopify, Contra, Movers+Shakers, and others, are accepting these resumes.
The online platform, which is widely used throughout the world, will allow users to apply for jobs from entry-level to experienced roles using videos posted with the hashtag #TikTokResumes, according to the company in a blog post.

In recent months, TikTok has seen an increase in career and job-related material under hashtags like #CareerTok.
The company also stated that TikTok Resumes can be found in the app via the hashtag #TikTokResumes and on its official website.
“Candidates are invited to peruse job listings, examples of standout TikTok video resumes, profiles of TikTok creators who create career- or job-related content, and to submit videos for posted jobs. The web page will be accessible through a number of entry points, including the TikTok Discover page. The program is accepting video resumes for U.S. job openings from July 7 through July 31”, said the platform in a blog post.
