We are also aware that Mark Zuckerberg aims to merge also Facebook-owned businesses so that people can move easily from one site to another. Facebook Messenger has shown early signs of cross-chat support and compatibility with WhatsApp as confirmed by WABetaInfo, a Twitter account that keeps a close eye on the new WhatsApp developments and notifications.
The idea seems to be easy, too good-Facebook Messenger will also be linked to chats from WhatsApp.
There is a difference between the two platforms, while WhatsApp stores all chats within a user device and it is end-to-end encrypted and of course ad-free, Messenger is completely opposite.
